Popis práce: Motivated by recent evidence from studies showing that the ECG-derived age gap (Δ-age) reflects cardiac ageing and is associated with mortality and future cardiovascular events, this thesis will develop and validate an estimator of AI-ECG age from 10-second, 12-lead ECGs, and assess Δ-age as a candidate biomarker by evaluating its independent association and added value for mortality risk stratification.
